TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — The Tallahassee Memorial Children’s Center needs your help to comfort sick children.

TMH is asking for donations for their treasure chest. It’s meant for any kid that goes through a surgery.

The patient gets to pick any toy they want— to reward them for their bravery. The hospital says helping out the children’s center is a small gift that, for the kids, can go a long way.

"They instantly change they’re like I can do this because I’m going to get a second prize — then we have kids who have been here multiple years who are like I can do this because I get to go to the treasure chest after," said Olivia Vincent, Certified Child Life Specialist. "Then they look in there and get so excited to see what’s new, what does Olivia have in the treasure chest. So it really makes a difference.”
