QUINCY, Fla. (WTXL) — Lines of cars filled Tanyard Creek Park Saturday for free masks, a farm share giveaway and a Census check in.

Gadsden County has been heavily enforcing their mask mandate since April.

The Power of Life foundation says with the number of cases in Florida, Georgia and Alabama, they are trying to encourage wearing masks any way they can.

"It's so cool to be covered. We allow people to pick the color mask they want because they are more apt to wear it. We are trying to curb this pandemic in three neighboring states. That's our mission," said Teresa Berger with the Power of Life Foundation.

The group received donations from organizations like Sustainable Tallahassee in order to make this possible.
