THOMASVILLE, Ga. (WTXL) — Relief for non-profits arrives in south Georgia.
The Community Foundation of South Georgia developed its COVID-19 relief fund three weeks ago.
It's already raised more than $400,000!
The fund is available for non-profits in southern Georgia, all you have to do is apply.
Community Foundation of South Georgia CEO, David Carlton says there is one condition though.
"[The organization must be] involved in the areas of food insecurity, senior citizen support, health care, child care for our front line health care workers and economic relief," said Carlton.
Carlton says the fund will be around for as long as there is a need during this crisis.
