A shooting incident occurred Wednesday at a convenience store in Perry, leaving one dead, according to Taylor County Sheriff's Office spokesperson Gina Deeson.
Deeson said investigators are actively working the shooting incident that occurred at 221 Gas & Grill, located at 3525 N US 221.
The Florida Department of Law Enforcement Crime Scene was also dispatched to assist.
The investigation is active and ongoing, and there are no indications of danger to the public.
