TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — A world famous chef whips up delicious cuisine in Tallahassee, all to benefit the arts.

On Thursday, Tallahassee Community College hosted Cleaver and Cork, A Session with Chef.

Guests got to watch James Beard Award winner and chef Marcus Samuelsson give a live cooking demonstration.

Samuelsson made recipes from his cookbooks, 'The Cookbook, The Story of Food and Hustle in Harlem' and 'Marcus Off-Duty, The Recipes I Cook at Home.'

Guests also got to ask Samuelsson questions about his recipes, his Swedish and Ethiopian roots, and his journey to the top of the industry.

All monies raised from the event will benefit the college's Empower Exploration Campaign, a $4 million campaign to support the arts programs at TCC.
