TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — Tallahassee's art and smooth Jazz Festival officially got into the swing of things Friday night.
The two-day event includes performances by the likes of the jazz ensemble "Aaron Hayden & Friends."
This organizers are honoring community leaders including Motown Gospel Recording Artist and Tallahassee native, Royce Lovett.
"I think, you know, there's a lot of hidden talent here in Tallahassee, and I think its important we have events like this," said Jase Lindsey. "We support people that push their art and continue to be creative. Tallahassee definitely has some creative people and a lot of talent has come out of Tallahassee."
On Saturday, the festival starts at 6 p.m. and lasts until 10 p.m.
