TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — Two Tallahassee teachers are getting attention from around the world for their "Just Be Cool" clothing.

Reggie Grant, a professor at Tallahassee Community College, and Paco Fiallos, a teacher at Rickards High School came up with the idea over the summer.

Both men deciding to start the campaign after seeing protests for Breonna Taylor and George Floyd and the tensions in the country.

"Just Be Cool" is written on the front. On the back, it reads "Don't be racist, sexist, homophobic, hateful."

"If you are trying to get groups of people to coexist together and function and be productive, this idea of just being cool of just hearing, listening, of being accepting, rather than fighting. Just talking about things. It just feels like that's how it should be," said Fiallos.

People from around the country are now wearing it along with people in Australia, London, Spain, and more.

"That just really re-energizes us because this is just kind of a side gig for us. This is not like our main thing," added Grant.
