TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — UPDATE 10:06 a.m., 7/6/23: The Tallahassee Police Department released Thursday an incident synopsis on the incident.
The police department said on Wednesday at the McKenzie Mart located at 3625 Apalachee Parkway at 9:09 p.m., its officers responded to the location following reports of a shooting.
When officers arrived on scene, they located two victims, an adult male and an adult female, both with serious injuries.
The two people were transported to a local hospital.
Preliminary findings indicate this was not a random act, however, details regarding what led up to the shooting remain under investigation and no arrests have been made as of Thursday morning.
UPDATE AT 6:30 AM 7/6/23
The Tallahassee Police Watch commander says both victims of Wednesday night's shooting on Apalachee Parkway are alive and stable. No information was available about whether any suspects had been identified or whether any arrests have been made.

According to TPD, the shooting took place at a convenience store located at 3624 Apalachee Parkway.
TPD says the scene is secure but officers are still on the scene investigating.
