TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare says we could likely see almost 400 people admitted to hospital daily due to COVID-19.

The hospital is using a model developed by the University of Pennsylvania to determine what the future of the pandemic looks like for our area.

TMH says it has enough personal protective equipment for now, but they're remaining cautious.

The model also predicts that before the outbreak peaks, area hospitals will run out of regular and ICU beds.

TMH has plans to convert wings and space around the hospital to take in patients. They say it will be similar to how hospitals handle mass casualties.
