TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Kids who might not have the chance to dress up as their favorite character for Halloween will get to do just that, thanks to a local law firm.
Pineview Elementary School and Scott and Wallace law firm came together to provide costumes for disadvantaged children at the school.
Character costumes like Superman and Superwoman, or firefighters and cowboys are sometimes expensive in stores or take too much time and materiel to make and some kids miss out each holiday because of this.
"But today what is so fortunate for us that many kids may not have the opportunity to purchase costumes like that we got today, so this is just a great opportunity for them to shine and be proud and wear their costumes of their book character that they chosen so I'm super excited about that," said Carmen Connor, principal at Pineview Elementary.
