TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — Seminoles fans are celebrating after a tough week.

"I was really impressed how we played on offense I think this is probably one of the better games I have seen all season," said Garrett Huber.

It's been nearly week since FSU fired head coach Willie Taggart.

And people say being able to see a familiar face step in is a sigh of relief.

Especially since he's a Nole himself.

"Well he bleeds garnet and gold through and through," said Winston Lee.

Coach Odell Haggins, a long-time defensive line coach is no stranger to Seminoles football.

And a lot of people say he has the chance to turn things around for good.

"He's three-and-o. Undefeated. You have to be happy with that performance," said Tim Mcsorley.

But Haggins isn't the only one getting praise.

Quarterback James Blackman helped the team come back from a 14 to three deficit.

"He definitely made it work today. He played very well...he was throwing the passes that he should so...very proud of him representing the university very well," said Lee.

While the search for a permanent coach is ongoing, the team is focused on wining their next game.

It's something fans say -- isn't out of reach.

"We're Florida State and no matter what we're unconquered," said Tim Mcsorely.

People didn't miss a beat when Taggart got fired.

The very next day a billboard showed up in Tallahassee.

With a backsplash of garnet and gold and just one word -- ODELL.

Businesses all over town are also trying to keep up with the fan frenzy.

Proof Brewing Company teamed up with Madison Social for their own Odell t-shirt.

The restaurant says the idea came from the brewery's most popular beer..now temporarily re-named.

It's the second time Proof has renewed a beer for the coach.
