TALLAHASSEE, Fla; (WTXL) — It may not be the typical home sale, but the Tallahassee Board of Realtors is looking to sell a playhouse.

They're raising money for the Boys and Girls Club of the Big Bend.

This is the fifth year they're holding a raffle for a playhouse. They usually hold the fundraiser during the annual Spring Time Tallahassee Parade.

But with COVID-19 canceling the event, they're hoping the community can still help raise money.

One hundred percent of the proceeds go to the Boys and Girls Club.

The money will help them pay their staff.

"They've had to let go of - not permanently, but for right now, that take care of these kids - 40 of their part-time employees," said Courtney Roberts, the chair of Tallahassee Realtors Playhouse. "They're still trying to service these kids virtually. These kids need them. They have no place to go in the afternoons."

You can still participate, there are 1,000 tickets left, on sale until 5 p.m. Friday, $5 each.

Tickets can be purchased by clicking here.
