VALDOSTA, Ga. (WTXL) — Police are investigating a shooting that took place earlier Thursday near Sustella Townhouses.
Valdosta Early College Academy and S.L. Mason Elementary were put on lockout briefly as a precaution.
The school system says all students and staff are safe, and normal operations have resumed.
