QUINCY, Fla. (WTXL) — Quincy Police say the fourth suspect in the November 2019 murder of Karlos Campbell has been arrested.
The Quincy Police Department with the help of the Gadsden County Sheriff’s Office have arrested 20-year-old Jakeem Kelly.
QPD says Kelly was arrested Wednesday at approximately 4:30 p.m. and is currently in the Gadsden County Jail.
Kelly along withDamion Gaymon, Tyrell Jackson and Vornell Davis are accused of shooting and killing Karlos Campbell on November 17, 2019 in the 1400 block of Smith Street.
After months of investigating, all suspects have been arrested and are facing homicide charges in connection to the shooting.
Quincy Police Chief Glenn Sapp said “Violent crime has a devastating effect on the entire community and must be stopped. The Quincy Police Department will do everything in our power to bring those responsible for senseless killings to justice. Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere and justice may be slow at times but we will leave no stone unturned in our pursuit of those who do evil”.
