TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — The Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation has ordered the emergency suspension of the alcoholic beverage vendor license of Pockets Pool and Pub sports bar.
According to the order, the license is suspended until further administrative proceedings seeking formal discipline of the license may be instituted pursuant to chapter 120, Florida Statutes.
This emergency license action is based on a finding that immediate danger to public health, safety, or welfare requires suspension of the license to avoid future harm.
The order states that social distancing measures were not being enforced at the bar.
The order was filed on August 10, 2020.
Pockets Pool and Pub is a sports bar in Tallahassee that offers residents pool, bowling, darts, and food and drink specials.
