TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — Paisley Cafe in Tallahassee is closing in just a couple weeks.
But in the meantime people are coming out in droves to support the owner.
The brunch and lunch spot is calling it quits in mid July after eight years of service.
WTXL stopped by Sunday, where it was so busy, the kitchen had to hold off on orders for a while.
Longtime customer April Killian tells us she's bummed to see this happen to one of her favorite places in town.
"It definitely makes us feel sad, I think that the owner has had the restaurant for 8 years so maybe she's tired or has other things to focus on but we certainly hope they open in another form. We love the restaurant, thank you so much for all your years of service and if you re-open we will be back, " said Killian.
Cafe Owner Kiersten Lee thanked her customers yesterday on Facebook for their years of support.
This is just one of five places in town that have stopped serving this year.
