TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — The Tallahassee Police Department is currently investigating a shooting on West Pensacola Street.
Police say the shooting happened the Social Apartment Complex in the 2700 block of West Pensacola Street Monday afternoon.
At approximately 1:32 pm., officers were notified of the shooting incident and responded to the area. Arriving officers and emergency personnel discovered one victim suffering from a gunshot wound.
That victim was later transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The shooting occurred just over and hour after a fatal shooting on Old Bainbridge.
This case has been assigned to TPD’s Violent Crimes Unit. Investigators are asking anyone with information about this case to please call them at (850) 891-4200.
