One dead, another injured during Sunday night shooting in Quincy

QUICNY, Fla. (WTXL) — Police searching for suspects after one person was killed and another was inured during a shooting in Quincy over the weekend.

According to The Quincy Police Department, officers responded the 500 block of Lincoln Street after receiving reports that two people had been shot on Sunday night.

When police arrived on scene they found two victims, a 19-year-old female and a 57-year-old male who were suffering from gunshot injuries.

Both victims were immediately transported to a local hospital.

Sadly, police say the male victim succumbed to his injuries and the female is currently in the hospital being treated for her injuries.

At this time, police are searching for 2 or 3 black male suspects.

They say this is an open and active investigation and the release of information is limited.

Authorities say you could receive a reward of up to $5,000 if your information leads to an arrest and conviction.
