TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — Members of the Women in Transportation group got a special look at the Tallahassee International Airport Tuesday.
During an airport tour Tuesday afternoon, the group got an overview of what the airport is working on during a Q&A session with airport officials and heard about the airport's master plan.
Interim Director of Aviation David Pollard said it's a good way for the airport to help educate the community.
"It's a lot of great things happening at the Tallahassee International Airport. They have some phenomenal strategic plans and opportunities," said James Halley, Event Coordinator.
They also got a tour and checked out places like the terminal area and the baggage claim. Participants said the airport tour let them see a different dimension of transportation.
