TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — We're learning more about a house fire in Tallahassee where a body was found inside. The home is one that's been on the sheriff's office radar a time or two before.

The house where that body was found is the same house where the sheriff's office made a big drug bust back in May.

Emergency workers were called to the house around 7 a.m. Sunday morning.

So far, police have not said who was killed in that fire. Nor have they said how the fire started in the first place.

Last May, LCSO's SWAT team raided the home. Deputies found 10 guns, 171 grams of methamphetamine and ammunition. 10 people were arrested at the time of that bust.

Monday, we were able to speak with people in the neighborhood surprised over the fire.

Neighbors say they saw a lot of unfamiliar faces in the neighborhood but that all stopped after the drug bust. One woman we spoke to says she hadn't noticed anyone at that home since May.

"I felt great. It was great to know that the people that were in the house weren't there anymore and he neighborhood felt safer."

Overall people in the neighborhood say things are pretty peaceful in their community.

People living nearby say they had started to feel safer after the drug bust, but this new development is renewing concerns in the community.

LCSO and the Florida Division of Financial Services is investigating. They haven't released the identity of the person found in the home yet.
