GADSDEN COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) — Gadsden County commissioners have voted to rescind an order requiring residents to wear masks in public.
Commissioners voted on the decision during an emergency meeting on Friday.
While the mandate has been lifted, masks are still mandatory at places like grocery stores and pharmacies and are still strongly encouraged in public places.
A night curfew is still in effect, though the hours have been changed. The curfew now runs from midnight to 5 a.m.
A ban on gatherings of 10 or more is still in effect.
