TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — A new park is coming to the Greater Bond Neighborhood.
Tallahassee will break ground on the new Bond Community Linear Park on Thursday. It's a mid-block, multi-use trail and park that connects Speed Spencer Stephens Park to the Saint Marks Trail.
The city says it will add green space and expand access to recreational activities.
The first step will be to fill-in the ditch. Then, the city will build the park on top of it.
When it's finished there will be benches, swings, landscaping, a paved path, and more.
The groundbreaking will be Thursday from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.
