TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — Leon County Schools says they have a plan in place if students can return on March 30, and sites for food pickups for those in need.

The specifics will be released on Thursday after review from the school board.

Superintendent Rocky Hanna says he is not banking on students returning after spring break.

“I’m not very optimistic that our schools are going to return on March 30th, but we’re going to be prepared either way," Hanna said. "We have a plan in place to return to school, but we’re going to have a plan in place should that not happen after next week."

LCS also added another food location at Pineview Elementary school, for a total of 15 locations around the county serving students.
