TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — The Leon County GOP Chair, Evan Power announced his intention to file a lawsuit against the commission for passing a mask mandate moments after it passed.
Powers' announcement came on Twitter, saying he made the decision after conferring with Anthony Sabatini, a Florida State Representative for Broward County.
After conferring with attorney @AnthonySabatini I intend to bring suit against the Leon County Commission passing an ordinance that makes failing to wear a mask a misdemeanor. I look forward to the judicial process in this matter. Cc: @KarlEtters @MonicaCaseyNews
