(WTXL) — Deputy Dave Teems is joined WTXL Thursday afternoon to talk about a great event that's happening in College Town.
The Leon County Sheriff's Office is shutting down a street in Tallahassee and taking on a new look Thursday night.
They're shedding those stuffy uniforms, for a night of glitz and glamour to raise money for Breast Cancer awareness.
Several of their deputies are taking part in the "All-in Patrol Stroll", it's a fashion show benefiting Making Strides Against Breast Cancer.
They're transforming West Madison Street into the runway for the night.
They say it's all about showing their support for survivors and the women still fighting breast cancer.
This event is free, you don't need a ticket at all.
The fashion show starts later at 7 p.m. in College Town
And if you want to arrive early there will be a Block Party that starts at 6 p.m.
