TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — Three people were injured in a single-vehicle accident on Woodville Road on Tuesday.
According to an incident report provided by the Florida Highway Patrol, just before 11 a.m., a sport utility vehicle driven by a 28-year-old female from Tallahassee was traveling north on on Old Woodville Rd. when it ran onto the north shoulder of the roadway.
The report states after leaving the roadway, the vehicle collided with a tree, ejecting one passenger and causing the driver and front passenger to become entrapped.
Tallahassee Fire Department personnel were able to extricate the two occupants.
Leon County EMS transported the driver to Tallahassee Memorial Hospital in critical condition.
The two passengers, a 12-year-old female and a 9-year-old male, were also transported to TMH with serious injuries.

Leon County Sheriff’s deputies are assisting a wreck involving one vehicle in the 8000 block of Woodville Road, near the Woodville Branch Library.
LCSO asks that drivers avoid the area. Woodville Road is shut down while first responders work to clear the scene.
