TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — Friday, Governor Ron DeSantis issued Executive Order 20-114, which extends Florida's State of Emergency for 60 days.

The announcement came moments after announcing the Palm Beach County may move to Phase One of reopening.

DeSantis said he is committed to providing all available resources and assisting all Floridians and our local communities with their efforts.

The move allows the state to continue accessing federal funds to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic.
