GRADY COUNTY, Ga. (WTXL) — The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is investigating after a man was found dead at a home in Ocklocknee, Georgia.
On Sunday, around 2:56 pm, the GBI was requested by the Grady County Sheriff’s Office to assist in the investigation into the death of a man who was found at a home off Highway 111 in Grady County.
Agents say a preliminary investigation indicates a domestic dispute led to the victim being shot. The victim was sent for an autopsy at the GBI Crime Lab on Monday.
The GBI says the victim’s identity will not be released until additional next of kin has been notified.
A suspect has been developed by the GBI and Grady County investigators and criminal charges are expected to be filed.
Based on evidence that was found on scene, the case is being treated as a homicide and is ongoing.
