TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — Researchers at Florida State University are trying to reduce stress in college students through mindfulness-based art therapy.

And it's all online.

The MBAT is accessible to students online through the Canvas portal. That's a learning platform where students can access class materials.

It involves something like a breathing exercise or yoga practice, followed by handling clay, all while keeping in mind a prompt to enhance mindfulness.

At the end of the study, students reported reduced anxiety and stress symptoms.
