TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — A group at Florida State University is hoping to make the future a little greener.
Sustainable Campus at FSU is renting out bikes for the students this summer. It's all to make sure those students ditch their cars and instead pedal their way through campus.
FSU's reCycle Bike Program is giving students a bike to get around campus and the accessories that are necessary as well.
The program is a partnership between FSU Sustainable Campus, FSU Police Department, and University Cycle. The bikes are all abandoned bikes that FSU PD has rounded up.
University Cycle then fixes those bikes so that the students can easily get to and from campus.
It costs only $50 to rent a bike for the summer.
You can reach out to Sustainable Campus FSU to set up a time to get a bike.
