WAKULLA COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) — The Wakulla County Sheriff's office has arrested four people on meth charges after serving a search warrant at a Panacea home Tuesday.
Deputies, assisted by the North Star Multijurisdictional Drug Task Force (NSMDTF), executed a search warrant at a home on Monticello Avenue in Panacea and arrested four people on drug charges.
Detectives say they received multiple complaints about drug activity at the home. WCSO also made controlled purchases of drugs from the location and developed probable cause for a search warrant.
When they searched the home, investigators found over three ounces of crystal methamphetamine, a "user quantity" of cocaine, a bag of marijuana, and multiple glass pipes commonly used to smoke meth.
Charles Kevin Agerton (aka “Hank”), Paula Beatrice Kilgore, Admiral Doyle Barwick, and Brent Hughes were all inside the home when deputies searched it.
WCSO says Barwick had meth and drug paraphernalia on his person while detectives found meth and drug paraphernalia in Hughes' car. All four people were arrested. Their charges are below:
- Charles Kevin Agerton, aka “Hank,” 56 years of age – Trafficking in methamphetamine; possession of cocaine; possession of cannabis; possession of drug paraphernalia; and maintaining a drug dwelling
- Paula Beatrice Kilgore, 53 years of age – Trafficking in methamphetamine; possession of cocaine; possession of cannabis; possession of drug paraphernalia; and maintaining a drug dwelling
- Admiral Doyle Barwick, 33 years of age – Possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia
- Charles Brent Hughes, 37 years of age - Possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia
Deputies say they found probable cause to arrest another woman, Summer Harris, but did not do so Tuesday because of a medical condition. Detectives say they intend to get an arrest warrant for her in the future.
