Florida murder suspect turns himself in to Tallahassee fire station

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — A Florida murder suspect who's been on the run for months after fatally shooting a mother of three is behind bars after turning himself in to Tallahassee Police custody Thursday afternoon.

The Tallahassee Police Department responded to Tallahassee Fire Station #3 in reference a wanted subject wishing to turn himself in.

Upon officer’s arrival, it was discovered that 33-year-old Antwaun J. Streeter has been wanted out of Orange County, Florida for first degree murder.

Streeter was placed into custody without incident and transported to the Leon County Detention Facility.

According to the Orlando Police Department, Streeter was wanted for the death of Radeya Haughton, a mother of three. On October 31, 2017, officers responded to a vehicle crash with shots fired.

When they arrived, they found a car with blood trails coming from the car. Upon further investigation, they noticed that the female driver of the car was dead inside. Officers were also able to locate an additional victim who was shot and that female was transported to the hospital.

Witnesses told police that the suspect had brandished a black-colored semi automatic handgun during the carjacking that eventually lead to the fatal shooting.
