TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) — One person is dead and another injured after a pedestrian was hit on Apalachee Parkway on Wednesday, according to Florida Highway Patrol.
The accident happened around 5:10 a.m. near the intersection of Harrison Hill Way and Apalachee Parkway, FHP said.
A sedan was driving along Apalachee Parkway when for unknown reasons, the pedestrian walked into the roadway and was hit by the sedan, according to an FHP report.
Westbound lanes of Apalachee Parkway were closed for a period of time for investigation, but are currently all back open.
