TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Florida Democrats said Monday, they're not happy with the President's response to disaster relief for the Panhandle.

In a call, several Democrats discussed what they say is President Trump's in-action on Hurricane Michael disaster relief and communities in the area that continue to struggle.

They want the federal government to provide disaster relief to areas still trying to recover.

"What is so unbelievable is that the folks that need this help are not Democrats or Republicans, they're Floridians and they are absolutely in dire straights now, approaching a few months out," said Samantha Herring, local resident and disaster relief activist.

Democrats say instead of holding a campaign rally, the President should come with an explanation as to why Republicans haven't delivered on their promise of relief.
