MADISON COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) — A Madison man is dead and another person is hurt after a crash in Madison County early Thursday morning.
Around 5:35 a.m., a Ford Explorer and a tractor-trailer collided at the intersection of County Road 150 and State Road 145, with the hit causing the tractor-trailer to overturn, according to Florida Highway Patrol.
The driver of the tractor-trailer was transported to Madison County Memorial Hospital with minor injuries, and the 78-year-old man driver of the Ford Explorer was pronounced dead on the scene.
The crash is still under active investigation, FHP said.
