HAMILTON COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) — Troopers say a man is dead after he was ejected from his vehicle and hit by two cars during a crash on I-75 in Hamilton County.

According to Florida Highway Patrol, the accident occurred on Monday at 12:53 a.m. on I-75 at Mile Marker 454.

FHP says a Ford F150 was traveling on I-75 within the center travel lane. Three other vehicles were also traveling on I-75 when the Ford F150 lost control and left the roadway.

After leaving the road, the Ford crashed into a guardrail causing the vehicle to rotate counter clockwise.

FHP says while overturning, the driver was partially ejected from the vehicle.

The Ford then reentered the road and crashed into another vehicle. After the impact, the driver was fully ejected from the Ford and came to a final rest in the middle of the road.

The driver was identified as Loren Denis Anderson, 36, of Jasper. Shortly after Anderson was fully ejected, he was hit by two vehicles.

FHP says Anderson was transported to South Georgia Medical Center where he was pronounced deceased.
