GADSDEN COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) — An elderly man was killed after an overnight house fire in Quincy.
On Monday at about 1:50 a.m., the Gadsden County Sheriff's Office and the Quincy Fire and Rescue Department responded to a house fire in the 3500 block of Glory Road in rural Gadsden County.
When deputies arrived on scene, the small mobile home was fully engulfed and 74-year-old Sam Robinson Jr. was pronounced dead at the scene.
The home was a total loss and the fire is pending further investigation by the State Fire Marshall and the Gadsden County Sheriff’s Office.
