TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — Elder Care Services collected seventy-five heaters for seniors during their donation drive, along with four containers of blankets for the Warm Your Heart drive with Red Eye Coffee.

Jocelyne Fliger, President and CEO of Elder Care, said they couldn't have done this without the generosity of the community.

"Elder Care is so grateful to the community for helping us take care of seniors, especially when it's getting cold out," said Fliger. "It really was exciting to get so many donations into the office and it was overwhelming to know that people in the community are really caring and thinking about seniors."

Blankets and warm clothes may still be dropped off at any Red Eye Coffee location after the holidays.
