Deputies: Missing, endangered teen could be headed to Lake City

LAKE CITY, Fla. (WTXL) — Authorities say a missing 14-year-old they believe could be in danger may be heading to Lake City after running away from home nearly two weeks ago.

The Cape Coral Police Department says Coyoete Turner was reported as a runaway juvenile on August 11 but the alert was upgraded to a missing/endangered juvenile after police recived new information on August 16. They say she was last seen walking in the 300 block of SE 13th Street in Cape Coral.

She is described as a white female, around 5’02 tall, 190 lbs, with brown hair and brown eyes. Coyoete was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, black yoga pants, and sneakers.

Police say she does not have a cell phone and does not have a vehicle but may be headed to Lake City, Florida.
