TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — A new resource center is now open in Tallahassee, focused on helping community members succeed in any way possible.

The Frenchtown Resource Center will allow community members to stop by and get help with job applications, resumes, assistance applications, and financial literacy.

The center will have an around the clock team available to help answer any questions that may arise.

Whitfield Leland said this center is special to him because he grew up in Frenchtown with similar resources. He now wants to help his neighbors succeed.

"Just for the residents to come in and be able to be comfortable. Being able to relate to the situation knowing that some of the residents have hurdles to get over and that's what we're here for. To get them over those hurdles," said Leland.

It will be open every Monday through Thursday from 9 A.M. until 4 P.M. at the Peacocks Center on 527 West Brevard Street.
