TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — Investigators say they've found no signs of foul play after a body was discovered inside a car left at the Tallahassee International Airport's long-term parking lot.
While the Tallahassee Police Department is still investigating the case, they say a preliminary investigation shows "no signs of foul play."
The body was found Wednesday afternoon inside a car that had been left in the airport's parking lot for "an extended amount of time."
Police say Tallahassee International Airport contract employees were doing routine checks of vehicles in the long-term parking area when they discovered the car.
They contacted the Tallahassee Police Department’s Airport Unit for further investigation. When they searched the car, discovered a deceased person inside the vehicle.
An investigation is ongoing. Police are not releasing any additional details at this time.
