TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — A hidden gem is moving to a new home.
Bill's Trail, named after the dad of former Florida State cross country coach Karen Harvey, is now headed across town.
It had to move because it was on an Indian Burial ground that the state now plans to make an archaeological site.
It's been an art lab, lending library and pit stop for dog walkers in Lafayette Heritage Trail Park for years.
Volunteers showed up Saturday morning to clear out the last of the artwork left behind over the years.
"The creativity of these folks who just are out in the woods and then the surprise of 'all of a sudden look at what we can do,'" said John Kalin, Bill's Trail Art Lab custodian. "It was just very exciting all the times that I was here to experience that."
You can find the Art Lab at the Drum Circle located at the back of Railroad Square.
