TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — Saturday, the Big Bend Minority Chamber of Commerce is having a roundtable discussion with local university presidents.
The event starts at 10:00 a.m. at the FSU Alumni Center.
Antonio Jefferson of the Big Bend Minority Chamber of Commerce said local governments have made great strides in helping minority businesses.
"We want our town hall to result in action," said Jefferson. "From the first town hall, we had 10 policy recommendations that have driven action. During this town hall, we're going to evaluate progress towards the 10 policy recommendations that we made to the city and the county to see exactly where we are."
