TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — American Red Cross Volunteers are heading to various cities to help provide relief for Hurricane Zeta.

While some will hit the road for Pensacola later this week and one volunteer is returning to Louisiana for the third time this Hurricane season.

Randy Barkley returned home from Hurricane Laura relief Saturday and on Tuesday he made the familiar journey back in anticipation of Zeta.

Barkley says while the communities continue to get hit, many people are prepared and ready for the storms.

"I think it's helped them planned for the future," said Barkley. "A lot of times in the past they didn't think they would get hit and they were going to ride it out, and you can't ride it out."

This is Barkley's 69th deployment with the American Red Cross.
