TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Happening Saturday, the grand opening for a trucking company founded on values of charity and community outreach in Tallahassee.
American Truck Depot says they’re committed to boosting the local economy and fighting distracted driving.
That's because the son of co-owner Demetrius Branca was killed in 2014 by a distracted driver.
And to show their admiration for using American made products, the company says they will be using local services for repair work paint and body work, and glass repairs.
"American business right now in this economy are booming, but they have no resources to get good American trucks," said Big Dlender, President of American Truck Depot. "There's things going on west of town, there's so much repair and devastation that needs to be taken care of and those folks need quality trucks to get the job done right and that's American made trucks."
The company's Grand Opening Celebration is Saturday from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. with food, fun, and a chance to win a Prius.
