TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — ALDI is taking over the Earth Fare store in Tallahassee after purchasing the building's lease.
According to a release from A&G Real Estate Partners, the discount grocery chain ALDI purchased the lease from Earth Fare in Tallahassee located at 2425 Apalachee Parkway.
The sale was finalized by A&G on April 10, and included several other Earth Fare leases in Florida, North Carolina, Virginia and Tennessee going to Winn-Dixie and Whole Foods.
Earth Fare filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy reorganization on Feb. 4.
Previously, documents from the City of Tallahassee showed Aldi was interested in 19,000 square space in the University Village Shopping Center on West Pensacola Street.
