SURFSIDE, Fla. (WTXL) — During a press conference Friday afternoon, the Surfside mayor said two more bodies were recovered Thursday night at the site of the collapsed condominium building, raising the death toll to 20.
One of the recovered was the 7-year-old daughter of a Miami-Dade firefighter.
