PELHAM, Ga. (WTXL) — Archbold Medical Center is reporting that they've received notice that a nursing home in Pelham, GA has five confirmed cases of coronavirus.
Officials confirmed Thursday that they were notified of five confirmed cases of COVID-19 at Pelham Parkway Nursing Home.
"We have been in contact with Georgia Department of Public Health, and we’re closely following their suggestions and advice on how to handle this situation," officials wrote in their latest update.
No other details were released about the nursing home cases.
As a whole, the Georgia Department of Public Health is reporting 10 positive coronavirus cases in Mitchell County.
So far, Archbold Memorial Hospital in Thomasville has reported six positive cases of COVID-19. A total of 13 positive cases have been reported across all Archbold facilities:
