TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — Two men and a woman are dead after two Halloween car crashes in Tallahassee, according to the Tallahassee Police Department.
The first crash happened just after 2 a.m. on Saturday, October 3.
Police said an adult woman was walking north on Pope Street with some friends when she ran through the intersection of west Georgia and Pope Street and was hit by car.
TPD said the woman died at the scene.
Hours later, just after 7:30 p.m., police said a Kia Optima was traveling west on Apalachee Access Road, which is the side road in front of DSW, and turned onto Apalachee Parkway.
A second vehicle, green F-350, was traveling west on Apalachee Parkway in the inside lane as the Kia tried to make a left turn on Apalachee, leading to a t-bone crash in the intersection.
Investigators believe the F-350 was traveling approximately 70mph at time of crash
The driver and one passenger inside the Kia, both adult men, died as result of their injuries.
Both incidents are under investigation at this time.
