CRAWFORDVILLE, Fla. (WTXL) — A second employee at St. Marks Powder Inc. in Crawfordville has tested positive for coronavirus, according to the parent company.

General Dynamics Ordinance and Task Systems, the parent company of St. Marks Powder Inc., confirmed to ABC 27 on Monday that a second employee at their Crawfordville facility tested positive for COVID-19.

The employee has in quarantine since March 26, which was their last day at the facility.

This comes after the company confirmed their first COVID-19 positive employee last week. The latest employee to test positive is confirmed to have been in close contact with the first employee.

It is unclear if this employee is a Wakulla County resident. The Florida Department of Health in Wakulla County reported their first positive case of coronavirus on Sunday.

The company said all employees who came in contact with both positive employees have been notified about the confirmed case.

The company has instituted "extensive cleaning processes" and have implemented strict shift change procedures as well as established social-distancing rules.

St. Marks Powder Inc. manufactures commercial smokeless powder.
